Alesund is a coastal town, a fishing and trading center. One of the city's landmarks is the marble church of Giske-one of the oldest examples of the spread of Christianity in Norway. Alesund was completely destroyed by fire in 1904 and was totaly rebuilded according to the Art Nouveau style. Nowadays Alesund has a unique atmosphere with incredible décors, colorful facades and the turrets that look like it sprang from a medieval fairytale.

Harstad, Norway
Harstad is a municipality in Troms, Norway. It is mostly located on the northeastern part of Hinnoya Island, which is Norway’s largest coastal island. The city itself is located on the northeastern part of on Hinnoya. Ιt is the only city on the island, and is popularly known as Vagsfjordens perle (The pearl of Vagsfjorden). Despite being located north of the Arctic Circle, Harstad features a sub-polar oceanic climate with relatively mild winters and cool summers. The city enjoys the midnight sun during the summer months, from 22 May to 18 July. There is also a period from early May to early August with twilight for a few hours each night as the sun just dips below the horizon, so there is no darkness. The polar night, when the sun is always below the horizon, lasts from 30 November to 12 January.

Svolvaer
Svolvær is the administrative center of Vågan Municipality in Nordland County, Norway. It is on the island of Austvågøya in the Lofoten archipelago, beside the Vestfjorden. The 2.37-square-kilometre town has a population (2018) of about 5,000. The first town formation known in North Norway, was Vågar and might have been established as early as the year 800 AD. It was first mentioned in 1567 as "Suoluer, the historical significance of Svolvær's as an important fishing village granted it, town status on 1 July 1918.
Tromso, Norway

The city is a cultural centre for its region and several festivals take place during the summer.

Vik, Norway
Vik is an excellent starting point for excursions across the beautiful high mountain area from Vikafjellet to Voss and Flåm. Vik offers a variety of attractions, shops and cafes within walking distance from the port. Try the locally produced Gamalost cheese, its roots going back to the Viking Age. Close to Vik, you can find the breathtaking sceneries in Arnafjord or Finnafjord, and eastwards to the World Heritage landscape of Nærøyfjorden.
